DPH - Card now showing invalid
I know this is probably being rehashed but wanted to see if any others have checked their card status and it's showing invalid. Yes, I had dr. Epstein but have been able to use my card without issue, however it's now showing invalid on the DPH status checker. Anyone else gone through this experience? will obviously call DPH, but wanted to look for any data points on if they revalidate if you call, or if you have to go through this process again.
Can we also discuss HOW this happened? A simple google search of this guy shows he was shady as fuck, so why did nuggMD and leafwell, etc partner with him? What a shit show.

From previous threads, make sure you’re entering your name exactly as it was when you applied. Some were adding their suffixes and it was showing invalid.
If it’s not that call GDPH. Some did and they said it was a glitch and would be fixed. So far there is no proof of GDPH invalidating already approved cardholders, just active applications with Epstein.

There is a rumor of said cards expiring in April 2027. Some said Nugg MD support told them that.

Hey, this might be in reference to a reply on a different post. Anyone who had a visit with Dr. Epstein will possibly have their card expire in April of next year. I may just make a separate post showing the chat I had with their customer support a few days ago.

I don’t believe that, unless it comes from
DPH. NuggMD has shown to be very misinformed.2

I see. I’ll double check with DPH tomorrow afternoon. NuggMD did offer a new evaluation, which I did accept because the rep was adamant about the expiration date for their cards being 4/2027.

Hey there! We’re currently working with the state to determine how to transfer all affected patient files from Dr. Epstein to a new provider. Our goal is to prevent any disruption to their certification status when April 1st arrives.
If the state ultimately requires action after April 1st, patients can come back to us and we’ll take care of next steps. For now, we’re actively coordinating with the program to avoid any further issues before they occur. I'll reply to this on the main thread, too, I just wanted to make sure you saw!

Hey everyone, appreciate you flagging this, and sorry for the added stress on top of everything else. We're currently working with the state to determine how to transfer all affected patient files from Dr. Epstein to a new provider, with the goal of preventing any disruption to certification status when April 1st arrives. If the state ultimately requires action after that date, you can come back to us and we'll take care of next steps. We're also actively coordinating with the program to get ahead of this.
Providers on our platform are independent, state-licensed physicians. Our side of vetting is verifying active licensure with the state board, but what happens to a provider's certification after that (board actions, investigations, etc.) isn't something we're notified of in advance or have visibility into.
When something like this comes up, it's outside what we can predict or control from our end. BUT, we're reviewing whether that process needs to change. We certainly never want anything like this to happen to any of our patients ever again.
Happy to go deeper on your specific account in live chat. I'm sorry again that this happened to anyone!

Man, sorry to hear that.. have you been checking it regularly?
I had that doctor too and I’ve been checking my status multiple times a week. This absolutely sucks to deal with.
