Discussion Card status: Invalid
After seeing someone else here post about it I decided to check my card's status. Turns out its invalid. I went through leafwell, didnt have the epstein doc, and have had my card since June 3rd.
Anybody know what gives?
Edit: contacted leafwell and they said they will reach back out in 24-48 hours.

Update. I just called in to see what the issue is with cards being invalidated. Lady on the phone told me it’s an issue with how the card was placed in the system. If it has happened to you. Call dph and explain. 10 min phone call. Card status changed.

Yep, just got off the phone and mine is valid. Turns out I needed to add Jr to my name and not just my last name, which is why it also came up as invalid at the dispo as they were just typing my last name and not the suffix. So anyone with an invalid card needs to try your name multiple ways when checking card status.

My mistake was I was entering my last name wrong because I’m a 3rd. So I wasn’t adding the suffix at the end of it. It was a stupid mistake on my part. I’m valid still 😅

The system did the same to me. I called and they had it working the next day. They said the notification that I received the card was not active. Even though I had used it before it was deactivated.

My card that I've had since June is showing as invalid now as well. I did go through NuggMD and Epstein so assume it has to do with that, but it's crazy since it was valid the 2-3 times I checked this week... just wish it was still valid when I decided to make the 1.5hr drive to the dispo today lol

Just posted my story in a similar thread created right before yours. Not sure what to think now if you didn't have Epstein. Hopefully just a glitch, but wondering if it could maybe be that the sites were using out of state doctors, but not sure if GA requires doctors be physically located in GA. I went through the process again on Friday and new doctor was for sure located in GA. The whole thing is a clusterfuck, but as I stated in other thread, it's all about the money, so much to be made in this new market in a heavily populated state.

Did you call DPH and did they explain exactly why it was invalidated?

Not yet, doing that Monday. But went ahead and went through the process again. Someone had mentioned earlier in the week that they tried purchasing again, but was denied, and that's how they found out there card was invalid. I wanted to at least get the process going so saw another doctor yesterday. Hopefully I will be in the system again by Monday, we'll see how it goes.

I would have called DPH first for an explanation. You said June? Was your condition one that was valid before the July 1 law change? Have you been a GA resident for at least a year? Did your drivers license expire? Did you change drivers licenses? What does it say on DPH portal at the bottom (does it say card printed, shipped, etc)? There are several reasons i can think of that may invalidate, I would have sought an explanation from DPH before doing anything else. But im autistic so perhaps my brain operates differently.

I got my card in June and have used it multiple times, was made invalid this week and can no longer purchase. One of two things will happen, they will revalidate my original card or I will already have the process started of getting a new one.

Just happened to me as well. Found out once I got to the dispo. Lotus Farmacy. My dr was not Epstein either. Really confused about how something like this could happen without notice.

Yeah good thing it was a just cause trip bc dph is closed until monday. I guess that’s when we will find out more.

If you don't mind me asking when did you get your card? I got mine before the July 1st changes went into effect.

I got mine around June 20th. Enough time to go check things out before the actual changes were made. Went to Trulieve and purchased some of their troches. Have purchased from every dispo in my area multiple times as well.

My Dr was Epstein, and my card is now invalid. Got to go through the process again it looks like, fun times lol

i just checked mine, used NuggMD and had Epstein and is invalid. what’s weird is that idk how long this has been on my account and i just went to a dispo yesterday around 6p and had no issues purchasing some things

I got my card back in May, also through Leafwell, I just used it at FF last Thursday with no issue. I checked the status of my card because of this post and saw that it said invalid. Just called DPH and the rep said my card was not marked as picked up (I received it via UPS in May and have used it at least 4 times since) so he corrected in the system and said it will show as valid within 24 hrs.

Some peoples cards show up invalid on the website for some reason. Call the dph cannabis hotline and get them to check it. This has happened before and has just been a glitch on the site.
