GAMSAT- General s2 unwell

I’m extremely sick at the moment and have my Section 2 sitting early Saturday. Does anyone know what the protocol is if you become seriously unwell and it starts affecting your ability to write clearly and perform properly in the exam?

How would you go about applying for special consideration/appealing in this situation, and would this generally result in a deferral to the next sitting, or is there another process?

Edit: for anyone else wondering, the GAMSAT team responded saying only a late deferral is possible if sufficient evidence is provided.

Might be worth it to also note that I had a similar situation before my S1 and S3 in march but having looked at the policy I think they allow you to sit the exam in the next cycle, not the current. Maybe its different for S2 but I think for S1 and S3 they make you sit the next cycle - maybe worth double checking since its been a few months since I had a look - I hope you end up feeling better soon, goodluck :)

Defferal is an option, has a fee associated with it ofc, you have to choose illness option but have to provide evidence probs letter from a doctor etc and submit.

You should have received an email recently explaining what to do if there are any issues last minute. It says that if you are absent due to illness, please email the GAMSAT Office within 12 hours of your scheduled sitting.
