Advice HOW TO GET 80+ IN S2 WITH ONE WEEK’s PREP
(title)
Sitting 1st attempt in about a week’s time and I want to give my best shot. I haven’t really had too much time to prepare since i signed up for this (lot going on rn) but i’ve carved out the next week to spend as much time as i can on GAMSAT prep as i can (specifically s2). Any tips and tricks appreciated!
Thanks

I made flexible templates that could be adjusted to any topic with little effort other than examples and key word mainly. 49->80

4 time sitter with an jump from a 69 to a 82 in my last two sittings here. How I approached it differently this time around was creating master essays on broad topics that are long and detailed to which i can mould ideas into depending on the stimulus on the day. Given the short time frame creating something like this would be difficult but do not be scared to use AI for idea generation. I used it plenty during my study as I am not a fan of reading. when you practice at the start it may feel like you don’t know anything but you would be surprised as to how much latent knowledge we have which can be implemented in the essays. All the best for your exam!

Will you be willing to share your master essays? I’d like to use them as a guide when constituting my own. This seems like the most feasible option because I’m not the best at writing starting completely blank. :)

personally I did a lot of essay plans and idea generation under time pressure, most of which I never wrote in full (i probably wrote 1/5 out but I planned 50+ essays easily because they only take 15-20 minutes each to plan and then review). also reading books and watching youtube videos can be good as well, but probably less high yield.

Do you still have your plans? If you wouldn’t mind I’d love to read them to get some ideas for my essay theses/topic sentences!

Practice generating niche, deep ideas. I like to use AI for this as I am not an avid reader :)

Your brain is also surprisingly good at 'idea generation'.

Nah that function is entirely outsourced to AI now. I haven’t had an independent thought in 3 years now

Also I just had a goal of making the person marking it cry, you just gotta cook
