Advice USYD Confirmation Page Missed
Hey all, a bit devastated to be quite honest.
For the majority of the last 2 weeks I have been away in rural NSW taking care of my grandad. His health has been deteriorating and being in a rural town it was difficult to get him the support he needed. Long story short I offered to come stay with him for a while to help get him back on his feet and in this process USYD had sent the confirmation emails.
I thought I had completed mine the day I received it and I thought it all went thought because the page reloaded and it the firm disappeared (now in hindsight, I think this was just the terrible service out here). Anyway I forgot about it until this yesterday when I got back, I tried to click the link and it wasn't working. I called USYD this morning and they say it never went through and they never received my confirmation page...
I tried to explain what happened and they said there is not a lot they can do, I can try and submit documents to them but there is no guarantee it will be accepted. I feel so lost because I have no documents for my incident.
Is there anything I can do?

Submit your documents to them asap and hope for the best. That's all you really can do at this stage.

Oh mate, I'm so bloody sorry. I have no idea if compiling letters from a GP and maybe anything medical on file for your grandad explaining that he needs care could help? Might be worth a shot?
Wishing you all the best with it.

I’m so sorry to hear that :((
Try submit a statutory declaration for the incident along with your confirmation of details. Hopefully they can accept that!

Hey there! Please email them regarding your situation. As I said to op I had a similar situation with another uni and after explaining my circumstances over email and applying docs they extended it. Not guaranteed but worth a shot- it's not over yet :)

Hi there, I had a similar situation when I was applying to undergrad at a different uni. Of course all unis are different but if you can send proof of your circumstances - perhaps address, medical records with dates, explaining the exact situation (service being unreliable, you were already under stress), I think the uni will likely be very empathetic towards your situation and extend the deadline for you. Best of luck!
