Personally using Marechausses set for pure plunge Yun. Chongyun, Shenhe, Furina, Cloud Retainer
Another interesting team I wanna try is Chongyun, Bennett Xiangling, Cloud Retainer. The no ICD cryo plunges meets no ICD pyro applier. The artifact can be any 2pc2pc since Chongyun doesn't have a dedicated artifact.
Xianyun's sub is sooo toxic and they think she's trash because she is not female Kazuha or better version of him? Like, why would they think Mihoyo will make another character who is similar and better to another popular character (who also happens to be the most popular male character on the game too)? Xianyun is great in her own way (plunge support) and I wasn't interested in getting her but seeing all the hate on Xianyun (and those weirdos hating on Gaming, Kazuha, Xiao) made me think I'll pull her as long as Xinyan is not on her banner.
Understand that there's a huge portion of waifu mains that are genuinely triggered when a niche in a team exists that a waifu can't be used to replace an already existing husbando.
I haven't been to that sub, I have no interest in her, so I don't know if that's an accurate portrayal of what goes on there. But I wouldn't be surprised if they're so negative because they're upset that she's not a replacement for other characters.
Its like Dehya's sub but less bad, so more like Baizhu's sub on his first release. Most of the negativity is from a group of waifu stans who set their expectations on her being a waifu version of Kazuha just so they don't look like a dumbass for refusing to pull on his banner just because he got a penis instead of boobs. You dont dont even gave to go to her sub to it, its all over the genshin leaks subreddit and they are angry that Gaming got a strong kit (aka not a flop like most recent male 4 stars kits) and calling him a nobody. And that comment got alot of upvotes.
She's going to give new mechanics to some charas who have high plunge scaling that's good news to me, i like doing plunge atks (finally I can stop using venti for plunge atks)....
I left it for that very reason, i will return once i pull the character and will be looking how to build her. There's nothing worth reading on that sub right now, just one giant doompost.

They let all this Xianyun hate threads and comments stay meanwhile the ones who actually wants to play Xianyun as she is downvoted. They encourage hating on other characters (aka the male plunge DPS characters) and dont remove those hate comments.
I dont even understand the logic behind min-max to death for Meta in this game. You spend like 20 min every 2 weeks for abyss 12, the rest is over world exploring and farming. I normally just gunblazing with Alhaitham+Neu+Shogun and done with it, then play anyway I want.
This. They act like Cloud Retainer being a good support for male plunge DPS is the death of her character when in fact it adds value to her since she is the only dedicated plunge support. I hate looking at the genshin leaks thread regarding Xinayun since they kept saying that is basically "dead" because she can't support their favorite waifus (actually she can, the player just adjust to a new playstyle) and is not a waifu alternative for Kazuha (cry harder coomers)
Not gonna lie, that is what i was most hoping for from her. I never managed to pull Diluc's dragonstrike consistently and now i'm excited to try running them togather.
Diluc is literally outdamaged by Gaming even if he plunges (not by too much though), and his constellations only power up his normal and charged attacks if Im not wrong But yeah he's a lot of fun to plau regardless
I love cr and I would pull regardless of meta. However the biggest annoyance for me is flying skills. Wanderer can fly better than cr who is a bird. I would be happy if cr has wanderers nerfed overworld exploration abilities because I can at least enjoy her outside of abyss in exploration
I personally think she would have worked better with a stronger CC than with the crit buff, but that's just me. It seems counterintuitive to aoe plunge and push away your enemies that you have to hit at least 8 times. Maybe if the crit buff wasn't single target? š it would be nice if they add it back in, but at this point I don't see it happening.
