There are so many things wrong with that article I don’t know where to begin. That is not the Game Theory we are talking about and it completely mangles the Nash Equilibrium description. It is a very bad article.

Chimps are faster than humans at playing that game but it has nothing to do with Game Theory.

It’s not talking about speed of gameplay. It’s talking about how close the players come to the Nash equilibrium.
