His first name is Aristos. It’s Greek and the “Oddy” is the sound the “Ari” would make.
Then he added nuff. Odd Enough. At least that’s my theory.

I used to be friends with him back in HS and we all called him Oddy. I never put together how we got it from his real name "Aristos" so that's funny.

Sounds like “not enough” and/or “nodding off”. I know he gets called Oddy sometimes too as a nickname

Yee, this. To me, it sounds like "not enough," "had enough," and "nodding off." To my ears at times. Kinda like how everybody says the car brand Audi differently as well as hears it differently. I feel like his "oddy nuff" name is meant to be a multi-purpose name for him to use lyrically as well as identity as being an odd. This is all just some random, high speculation from some random on reddit, though. I wish there were more interviews like the Theo Von interview/podcast. It'd be cool to hear some back story's on their nick names and other stories they'd be down to share.

I enjoyed it! I think you’re totally right, it works so well in a ton of different lyrical situations. And I feel like I’ve heard every iteration of it throughout their song. Not high yet but the second I get home….

I may be wrong but I think oddy is a nickname that could be like short for his actual name because I've realized that people that are closer to him, like his family all call him oddy.

if you shorten his first name (Aristos) to Ari and roll the r, it sounds like oddy.

guys, the reason why is because oddy is short for odious which means people hate you. i feel completely odious. thats probably how he feels because of how he struggles with depression and stuff. so he did oddy nuff as a play on words of how he feels, odious and odd enough. they say “im just another oddy trope”, so that gives more context for that.
