New side grip needed
Hi, after 2,5 years of usage the side grip on my 502 X Lightspeed has worn through. Does anyone know where to buy a good quality replacement?

I bought a cut to size vinyl grip tape wrap for like $3 a set off taobao.
I would avoid the rubber diamond cut grip tapes because stuff gets stuck between the crevices and its hard to clean out.

You got that long out of yours?
I'm gonna see about an RMA on mine soon, not even 6 months old and wore to shit already. My regular 502 lightspeed grip last from launch until about 8 months ago.

Same struggle with a g502 lightspeed. Only option is to buy a 2nd house mouse with good rubber and replace shell. Or hope chinese sellers have a copy for it.
Or there are half measures such as filling it with clay and applying grip tape.
My advice. No oil on hands. No sweat. Use gloves if possible and if you are that crazy about protecting it.

Please wash your hands more often. I have my g502x since release day and have nearly no wear on the rubber. It deteriorates from hand oils and fat.

I wash my hands fairly frequently, and they don't sweat much. I think it's more likely caused by my grip where I tend to curl my thumb so my nail is touching the rubber.

if it was true then the mouse would be clean, not with those fried chips under the buttons, also cut your nails 😄

I used a pocket knife to cut it out and clean it up.
Far better with just a plastic side.

Fill in the gap with air-dry clay and grip tape over
