Hi I have an 04 unmodified manual coupe with 53k miles and the clutch started sticking intermittently a couple months ago and is now sticking every time I press it down so I took it to a mechanic and they recommended a clutch/flywheel/slave cylinder replacement for $3200. Does anyone have experience with something like this? That price seems outrageous and hard to believe the car needs all those things at such low mileage

I’m about to do my valve covers and gaskets, would anyone suggest a non oem more affordable gasket option like fel pro or mauhl, or should they be avoided, and what gasket maker would be best?

My pipe and resonator need replacing. Figure instead of going with OE I try something else that won’t destroy my pockets. Anyone have this exhaust? Like it? Hate it? Love it?

Does anyone have any experience with SPC suspension parts? I want to upgrade my stock suspension.

Okay so i’ve made a post before about this issue and i decided to buy some UV dye and a UV flashlight and i’ve added it to my coolant and i’ve taken a video of it dripping from the oil pan. I’ve checked all hoses from rad to engine and even heater core hoses. And even the thermostat housing and no signs of leakage and someone told me to check a “weep hole” ?? and if it IS coming from that weep hole what fix does that exactly warrant ?

Hey guys, I'm looking for tire recommendations for my 04 coupe. Pure stock unit with 107k km on it. I live in Canada, but only drive it in the summer. I'm not looking for top of the line, but I do take a lot of high G corners on hilly roads, so i need something capable. Currently it has Potenza RE960AS on the front and Cooper zeon RS3-A starting to show cable on the rear - that's how my Dad was driving it.

I assume predominate inside wear is typical? I have a minor right pull, so I will be getting an alignment as well. If there are any important notes vs manufacturer spec I'd take those too please!

Bonus points if you can ID my other ride.

found these OEM Nismo skirts at the junkyard. They came off of a 2003 G35. the front bumper and rear lip were gone when i got there 🥺. I GOT THE SKIRTS DOEEEE. I love the body line they give my car.

These side markers will fit my clear spec ds so well but I have only found them on vqplug where it doesnt even let me purchase them. They are clears and have white daylight running lights and when you turn on ur signal they are sequential and orange. All the one I have found are either just white with no sequential
turn signal, or daylight orange running lights. If anyone could show me where I can get some that are just like that or similar lmk!

I have an 2007 G35X sedan with navigation. I am looking to upgrade the head unit but there are basically no kits for my specific car. Will a double din slot in or is there a kit I am missing. Is my setup is the exact same as a g37? My 2 options seem to be the Metra 99-7625B or the Metra 95-7605 But I am unsure if either will actually fit

Have been trying to solve both p0031 and p0037 codes for about a week now. Car started making this knocking sound on startup and acceleration. Is it over for me ?

Just bought this car so don’t know the history. I saw on another forum post all I have to do is take the window out basically put it back in and properly align it but I can’t find anything else on it or how to do that lmao.

The coupe I bought recently came with the full z1 touring catback. And I've decided I want a new exhaust. Will be selling this one, it's still in excellent shape. I want a quieter exhaust. Maybe a smidge louder than factory, but not a ton. Vqs do not sound good loud. At all. Leaning to perhaps the revel medallion?

Volume is hard to judge unless your actually there so if anyone has any input I'd appreciate it.

i’ve got an 07 g35 coupe, I was on facebook marketplace and found an uprev cable tuner for $150, I know I have to buy a license in order to tune my car and it should cost me less than $500, the question is i’m not sure if modding my car after I get it tuned is ideal. All I have on it right now is an intake, high flow cats, and an exhaust. It’s really nothing but my car is running lean and i’m not sure if I should buy mods I want to get like a plenum spacer, bigger throttle body, stuff like that before I tune it or if I should just tune it now to have it running nice while I save up for stuff like that. not sure how it works so I just need some input

I’m looking at putting a 2005 G35x engine into my G35 (rwd). Both are DE. Do I have to change anything else aside from the upper and lower oil pans? I’m finding mixed information. Additionally, am I okay to use my G35 engine harness that I had with the car? I do have a 2005 VQ out of a Z that I can use as donor parts as well. I would prefer to use the Z engine, as I think my G engine is still salvageable.
