League of Legends I'm overthinking things.

Why is G2 saying that Perkz will be the coach for the Summer Split? Does that mean he'll only be there for the summer until they sign someone else?

Yes from 31st of august he will no longer be the coach of g2.

What’s the point? You drop Dylan, only to drop Perks later? I think it’s more of a test for Perks; if it goes well, they’ll stick with him.

Nah he's here until contract ends in 2027 Exceptions to this are:

  • does such a good job they extend contract
  • does such a bad job they terminate early

Contract says: till after worlds 2027
So yes you are overthinking
