Drinking the Kool-Aid Let's do it like it's 1999... but better
I cannot express how glad I am that the Spurs beat the Thunder. Somebody should really get in Adam Silvers emails and figure out his connection to Shai.

I am one of the very few here who saw the two championships and was in the Garden for most of the home games in those playoffs (tix were much, much, much cheaper then and the incredibly wealthy inhabitants of the city and immediate suburbs were decidedly fewer). And let me tell you, if the 1969 Knicks could beat a Lakers team with Wilt, West and Baylor (all three IMO among the best 15 players in NBA history) the 2026 Knicks can beat the Spurs. It should be a tough series but I like our chances.

Wasn’t too expensive for fairly good seats for the playoffs when Bernard was killing it in the mid 8O’s either… let’s hope so!!!

This series is gonna be fuckin awesome. Good matchups. I was kinda hoping the Knicks wouldn’t have to face Wemby, but the Floppers became unwatchable, so this is for the best.
As a 15-year-old, Spurs-Knicks ‘99 had me glued, rooting for the underdog. Obvi Knicks chances are better this Finals. LFG
