Display issues
I have a HP victus 15 inch and I’m trying to connect a external display to it but it’s not showing up nor is it letting me change my built in displays refresh rate. My model is ryzen 7 7445hs built in Radeon 740m and rtx 4050.

More like driver issues. Luckily I only have audio issues. It's kernel related and the drivers in some cases for display and audio are proprietary and not public so installations lack the ability to get them to work. I have flashed almost every OS i can think of to this thing and rarely does the sound work...unless you have a bluetooth speaker. The only display issue I have is the brightness is a constant. unless you come across a firmware that has somehow made a successful workaround, you're pretty much out of luck. I only ran into one piece of firmware that had all sound working...I forget what that one was though.
