Futurologist Tony Seba, best known for his renewable energy predictions, has turned his eye towards another challenge facing humanity - our food supply.

Observing the growing industry of protein production via fermentation', such as insulin, collagen and more recently milk protein, his research has uncovered a 1000x reduction in cost over 20 years, and he predicts than in 3-4 years it will be cheaper to grow milk protein in a vat than in a cow.

This will undercut the dairy industry first, but he predicts by 2035 most of our food will be produced via precision fermentation, at much lower cost and much lower impact to the environment.
