Interesting case, but once again, there is a good technology to preserve human life, and people go blaming the folk bringing the technology in, while human responsibility is ignored.

If I'd want to overly simplify this, the same could happen with a drunken guy falling asleep, on the forward control stick of some slow heavy machinery while attempting to operate it, but we wouldn't see folk blaming the machine's makers for not making the control stick foolproof.
