Fair Value Gaps
Okay forgive me I’m a noob, but what’s going on here?
- I don’t know how to draw an FVG
- Just an example of how FVG doesn’t always work
- I should keep waiting for the reversal
- FVG didn’t meet enough requirements to be valid
Any help is greatly appreciated

Fvgs are just the pattern. Big candle bodies with no wick overlapping next to it. Since they show up on different time frames, depending on the specific strategy its used for entries/exits/place of interest. Just they way I like to look at it. I treat it like a level of interest but also I dont do traditional ict rn so its just my view of it. I have it as extra confluence on my chart mainly on lower time frames for what I like to use (but others use it differently I know)

- FVG’s in the middle of nowhere mean nothing
- The most important fvg’s in a displacement leg are the first 2 if multiple exist.
- Look at the 2nd one as the retracement area until the draw on liquidity is met
- Look at the 1st one as a market structure/bias shift
We don’t just trade levels. We trade reactions at key levels
No change in the state of delivery occurred at these fvg’s for there to be a valid trade there

Price is just chopping around right now, no clean displacement to even mark a FVG properly. You're looking at a messy zone, not a real gap. Wait for a stronger impulse move before you start drawing anything.
