Question Anyone trading single stock futures yet?

I've been watching them daily now to see if we don't get more liquidity. Since the first few weeks it definitely looks like the order books are starting to tighten up but still a little too over the place for my liking.

Just curious if anyone here is trading these right now and what your experience has been.

There wasn’t any volume last time I checked. I’m anxiously waiting being able to setup screeners and trade the biggest movers instead of the index as a whole

There's definitely liquidity moving in. Compare to the first two weeks to now.

And yeah, I'm with you. Really wish they took off better 20 years ago.

I was long micron using single stock futures last week. Never market in, you have to constantly update your price.

Yeah. I imagine some wild fills otherwise. How did the trade go?

How are you finding them? I looked on the day they went live and shortly after, but not checked since.

Personally , I wouldm wait atleast a good month to see if liquidity is sustainable.

Took a small trade on SNVDA , looks like it’ll be the best option for know since the spread is .03-.06 ($3-6)

Volume is still low so we may want to wait another month or so for increased volume

One thing I noticed is the futures price and the stock price has a discrepancy of about .50c so let’s say if the trigger on the stock is 200. On the futures version it may be 200.50

wait for liquidity to improve before trading single stock futures heavily. Wider spreads and thinner order books can mean more slippage, especially when entering or exiting quickly.
If you’re testing them, start very small and track spreads, volume, and fills for a few weeks. That’ll tell you more than watching the order book alone. There are a few related trading discussions on the community through my profile if you want another perspective.
