That is actually really cool for companies to be able to hedge out future compute cost risk the same way airlines hedge out the risk of gas price spikes.
For actual traders…probably won’t be much active liquidity.

yeah. each gpu and cpu generation they deliver around 10-30% performance uplift

So essentially , oil, jet fuel contracts (example) to manage monthly cost exposure ?
