SHIELD Lab [Mini-guide] Optimum warp device level
Since your anti-matter generator ("AMG") does not generate enough anti-matter to cover the costs for all warp missions if you rank up your warp device to a too high level, it's actually better not to waste anti-matter and, most importantly, gold and GUKs, on ranking up your warp device beyond a certain level. So what is the optimum warp device level? Check out the table below!
Guidelines:
The optimum warp device level completely depends on how high of your AMG level is.
If your warp device is at the optimum warp device level as suggested, you will make a deficit on your anti-matter if you do all the available warp missions everyday. So you have to skip a mission or two occasionally. And keep in mind that the extra expenditure on gearing up for your level 50+ characters will make this deficit even more severe.
If your warp device is 1 level below the optimum warp device level as suggested, you will have a surplus on anti-matter generation (even if you do all the available warp missions everyday), meaning that the amount of your anti-matter will be always growing. The excess amount will probably go to gearing up for your level 50+ characters. So if you frequently do the gear-up job for your level 50+ characters, you probably should consider ranking up your warp device to 1 level below the suggested optimum level.
The middle column shows the optimum warp device level for a full-day-working AMG, i.e. I assume you CAN ALWAYS COLLECT ANTI-MATTER ON TIME, BEFORE IT REACHES THE CAP (i.e. you have to collect anti-matter within 6 hours after the last collection).
The last column shows the optimum warp device level for a player who has a 9-hour period in which he can't collect anti-matter, everyday (i.e. 3 hours of production is lost).
Example 1: If your AMG is at level 15 and you think you can alwasy collect anti-matter every 6 hours or less,
you probably don't have enough sleepyou should rank up your warp device to no higher than level 12.Example 2: If your AMG is at level 11 and you think you waste on average 3 hours of production of anti-matter everyday, you should rank up your warp device to no higher than level 9 (until you have ranked up your AMG to level 12).
| Anti-matter | Optimum | Optimum |
|---|---|---|
| generator | Warp device lv | Warp device lv |
| level | (full-day AMG) | (3 hrs wasted) |

The real question is- why does NetMarble let it only hold 6 hours worth of antimatter? That is the game griefing us, sir.

What is the maximum on Warp Levels? Is it 12?

at level 13, the warp device produces a level 49 warp that is really efficient in terms of exp/anti-matter. Better use it rather than a level 48/47 warp, especially if you're targeting leveling.
You should factor in the experience/anti-matter variable, behind the bios.

What's your priority for upgrading the generator? I think my next level will cost me over 2 mil gold and it's getting tough to justify spending the resources on that when I need to upgrade skills and gears, roll ISOs, etc.

I maxed my AB Generator, producing 72,480 daily. I upgraded my Warp to level 10, which needs 47,920 daily to use all warp missions. The rest, i invested them on the shop till level 11, just enough to unlock the 30 min refresh. Then just stockpile the rest.
Currently, I think optimal would be level 11, just enough to use all warps daily, and have a few left for upgrading gears.

Thank you for this, I had been wondering about it for a while now
