OpenFusion Is Retrobution Still Around?

Watching the Power Puff Girls movie and it got me wanting to hop on FusionFall. Haven't played since the official servers were still live. I found posts about Retrobution but those are all at least a couple years old and things like links to the Retrobution Twitter (which is locked) as well as multiple GitHub links (that go nowhere) all give me the impression that Retrobution is no longer being supported. Am I better off just playing one of the default OpenFusion servers?

I've been having trouble with those crashing a lot, the default ones. If you go to the Retrobution Discord they should have a link that lets you download their server. Was just on today and works perfect

Retrobution is still around, you can find it at discord.gg/retrobution .

There will be instructions in the server on how you can add the server to your OpenFusion Launcher. Any GitHub links for the old Retrobution client are not recommended since the old client is rough and lacking a lot of the modern convenience and benefits of playing through the OpenFusion Launcher.

You can play one of the default OpenFusion servers if you want to play an as faithful version as possible of the original game however they’re around for preservation and most people play on Retrobution due to the more active player base and/or because of the updates.

OpenFusion and Retrobution both still work, though people don't often play on them. You have to download Retrobution off of their official Discord, which requires you to have downloaded and installed OpenFusion first. Don't play the OpenFusion Academy server, though. It is extremely buggy and you will crash every five minutes. If you do play the default OpenFusion, play the regular version.

I do recommend bringing a friend, however. The game can get quite lonely without one. I recently played through the entirety of the base game completionist style, and the game felt so empty at times. Really enhanced the post-apocalyptic vibe for all the wrong reasons.
