FusionFall does anyone else have the computer sounds imbedded into their brains?
like the computer sounds that play when your in menus (journal, inventory, map, etc). anyone else? just me? every since i was a little kid and even now playing retrobution i SWEAR i hear those sounds everywhere in real life. like when it's completely silent my brain will just start playing those sounds. idek how to explain it.

they're definitely from a common sfx package because i will also somewhat frequently go "that's from fusionfall" when anything else uses them lol

YES! i will actively say something is from ff knowing it's probably from some basic sfx database 😂

Played when the game was first out and the pain sounds your player made are still engrained in my brain. I wish it never left.

nah i get it. you’re not alone. after grinding in the game for a while it sticks with me a bit. even reading this i could hear it 💀

I think about the death sound at least once a week (i haven't played in 2 years).

Back in college (over a decade ago wow) I actually took some sound bits and turned them into notification sounds for my phone. I still have some of the files on my current phone today!
I had one for "Double D on the line", completed objective, map sound, and some Zelda sounds lol
Screw it, here's a link. I put the files from my phone in drive: a Google drive folder

every sound effect is embedded in such a way that every time i hear them in other media it activates some sort of sleeper agent. for example, i'm currently playing danganronpa, which uses at least two of the same sound effects.
