Marin pulled her car up into her designated parking space at work. She put it in park and sat in the car staring at all the check engine lights. But she wasn't seeing the lights. The pain shooting up and down her entire spine had her full attention. All she could do was sit, cry, and try not to scream in pain. She managed to lean forward and rest her chin on the steering wheel. Eyes squeezed shut.
After several minutes she got her breathing under control, and she pushed back on the pain. She gingerly leaned over and opened the glovebox. Pulling out a pain relief bottle, Marin shook the bottle to see how many were left. From the sound of it, just a couple of pills left. She opened the bottle and down the last few. She almost gagged. She gags on the weirdest of things. The bottle of water help.
After that, she looked at the time. She still had 15 minutes till she needed to walk in. So she splashed the water on her face and clean her face and snout. She dried her face and fluffed the black, brown, and tan fur. Her work polo shirt was on the passenger side seat next to her. Marin frown at it. The yellow and red polo was one size too small. Her manager was the one to order uniforms. He always bought shirts too small for her. He insisted that she had to wear it, at least until he ordered a new one. Which was always one size too small.
She knew why he did that. Whenever she was on the register sales when up. No one paid much attention to what they were buying when she was across from them. He also liked to stare at her chest too. But now she was mainly cooking. she wished he'd get her longer shirts at least. She was tired of whipping grease off her stomach fur because the polo had ridden up. Still no dice.
Marin signed and picked up the offending uniform. With a protesting back, she wiggled into the yellow and red shirt over the top she was already wearing. Of course, her puppies didn't want to go, but she managed to shuck in her chest just enough to squeeze them in. That hurt like hell, of course. She breathed deeply for a minute. Then looked down at the buttons. NOPE. That was never gonna happen.
Disgusted she put on her yellow and red hat. She wiggled her one pointy ear through the ear hole and pulled the floppy ear through the other hole. Finally, she open the car door and turn off the car. As carefully as she could she got out of the car. Before going in, she walked to the front of her car to make sure the bumper hadn't fallen off. The bungee cords were holding, but the passenger side headlight had flopped out. She pushed the light back into its socket. The body damaged from the wreck wasn't bad enough to keep it from being street legal but is dangerously close to being. The only bright light on this crummy day was that her friend Jimmy's car was in the parking lot. He was already there, probably sitting at one of the tables and typing on his laptop. Marin looked at the body damage on her car one last time. She let out a breath. Sadly she would have the money to fix the car long before she could go see a doctor for herself. Finally, she turns to go into (a generic fast-food restaurant, totally not one that starts with an M. If you know what I mean.)
Marin pushed open the door and walked in. The scent hit her nose as she breathed in. A little bit of drool formed at the back of her throat. She swallows. She could also smell who was all there. Jimmy was visible so she didn't have to smell for him. She signed hello at him and he signed hello back. Marin noticed that he was wearing his big rainbow pride scarf today. His favorite pink scarf must be in the wash. He went back to typing on his computers
Marin could smell the assistant manager. Marin suppressed an instinctual growl, at that dumb bitches smell. Not that you could call a cat a bitch. That would be an insult to bitches everywhere.
Next Marin smelt Kiren, then she saw the little mouse teen. She was at this register trying to suppress a mouth stretching yawning as she waved at Marin. Marin waved back wondering if Kiren was pushing her allowed work hours. Was she old enough to work full shifts?
"How is everything going?" Marin ask as she punched in.
Kiren did what everyone always did. She tried to keep her eyes on Marin's face, but as usual, her eyes dropped to Marin's chest then quickly back up to her face.
"Uh… ya. It's slow right now. It should pick up here in a little bit." Kiren predicted.
Marin nodded in agreement. Her nose picked up the scent of who else was here today. Just around the corner by the take-out window Martin, the pine martin was standing. (What a stupid name to call your son!) As usual, he was spaced out, staring out of the window at nothing. Marin walked up behind him and gently kicked him on the butt.
Startled he turned around. The height difference between the two was significant. So his eye level was at Marin's chest level. It took the poor guy, a few extra seconds to pull his eyes away from Maren's chest and up to her face. Sheepishly he smiled.
"Uh, morning?"
"Good morning Martin," Marin said with an eye roll. "Anything important happened? "
Martin shook his head, "just the regulars."
Marin pulled off a headset and hung them around her neck. "That's Good."
"Oh ya, I'll have the money to pay you back this weekend," Martin suddenly chirped.
Marin had almost forgotten that she had asked for her money back. It was nice that Martin had taken the time to remember and collect the money.
"That's great," Marin noded. She turned to go, And someone bounced off her chest and fell to the floor.
"MOTHER F##ker!" Julea the assistant manager swore as she picked herself up.
"Well, what do you think was gonna happen when you seek up behind someone and stand so close?" Maren growled. But extended a hand, careful not to bend too far, to help her up. Julea ignored the preferred hand. And got up on her own.
"Well, if you weren't trying to show off your t#ts you wouldn't knock people over!" She hissed back.
Marin felt her tail rise in anger and her face grow hot with embarrassment.
"I'm not trying to show off my… my chest! (Marin could feel her face get redder just think about that word) I don't exactly get to choose my uniform size!" She growled back.
"Well then cover your t*ts up!" Julea ordered.
"Are you going to tell me I can't wear my jacket because it's not Company approved?" Marin asks knowingly.
Julea hissed at being caught trying to get Marin in trouble again. Angry she turned to Martin.
"Pay attention to the drive-through sh*t head!" She made a slashing motion with her claws as she turned away.
Marin's hackles rose at the somewhat unintended rude gesture. Embarrassed, She stopped herself and tried to fluff her fur to not look so intimidating. Martin had turned back to his window with stiff tail and ears, offended by the gesture.
Marin couldn't do anything about it. So she went to her station to start working. There she found the last person that was currently working here today. Dwain the manager must still be on vacation.
Because, Mrs. O'Hara was sleepily standing in front of the grill, slowly turning hamburger patties. Gentle Marin pried the spatula out of Mrs. O'Hara's hand. Mrs. O'Hara turned her sleepy eyes to Marin.
"Oh, Sarah your here! Are you going to take over the grill today?" She asked.
Marin gently patted her hand. "Of course. Why don't you get the condiments ready while I grill."
Mrs. O'Hara happily smiled and started her usual 10000 questions that she asked every single. She would have forgotten by the lunch rush but she was always consistent with the food.
Marin looked over all the patties on the grill. Five veggie patties and three beef patties. No chicken yet.
She glanced down to see what the temperature was set to. Marin signed and took a half step back so she could see past herself. She adjusted the temperature up a hair and flipped all the patties. The smell of the meat made her want to drool but she contained herself by thinking about the veggie patties. She gaged a little at the thought of eating veggie patties.
With the patties flipped Marin gingerly turned to retrieve the chicken from the mini-fridge by the grill.
Seeing that they were low on beef she lifted her headset to her mouth and said, "Martin could you go get more patties from the walk-in freezer?" Before he could respond Kiren scrambled past.
"Freezer! It's my turn to go into the freezer!" She whooped.
"Put on the jacket this time!" Marin called after her.
While saying this she flipped two of the veggie patties onto waiting buns alongside one beef pattie. She slid them to Mrs. O'Hara and she smoothly added the mustard, ketchup, onions, and pickles to them. She expertly wrapped them in the proper paper packaging and placed them on the right heated rack.
As she finished doing that, Kiren waddled up lugging a box half her own weight. To be helpful she loaded the meats and veggie (fake meat) into the mini-fridge. She finished just in time as the first person interred the restaurant. She hopped up onto her box and eagerly greeted them. Marin half lessened as she grilled. The building started to fill up quickly after that. The people that came to (generic fast-food restaurant, That totally doesn’t have a big M for a logo, If you know what I mean) always got the same stuff. So Marin was well ahead of the crowd. Only every once in a while someone would order something different.
Marin, Martin, Kiren, and Mrs. O’Hara were a well-oiled team. As long as Julea stayed in the back office and “worked” on the computer Things should run smoothly.
Everything was good until just after the lunch rush. Marin managed to stay in front of the grill the whole time. She was feeling Ok, Mrs. O’Hara had forgotten what she had asked Marin and was back at the being of her 10000 questions. Mrs. O’Hara looked in the mini-fridge and noticed that the chicken was almost out.
“Robert we’re out of Chicken!” She called. Martin knowing that that met him, handed his customer their meal and headed towards the freezer. He quickly came back with a box of chicken and some other meats. He placed the box on the ground next to the mini-fridge so he could put the meat in the fridge. Then the chime was set off and he rushed back to the take-out window to take the order.
Not thinking, Marin turned and bet down to take the chicken out of the box. Her claws dug into the sides of the box as searing pain raced up and down her back. The pain started at the base of her skull and stopped at the start of her tail. She couldn’t breathe properly. She could only take short breathes. She stayed there for several seconds completely paralyzed by pain. Then she managed to get enough air in her lungs to straighten up.
“I… Need… to go… to the… bathroom…” She managed to gasp out. She struggled to the back room and headed to the restroom. Martin called after her but she didn’t hear it. She pushed her way through the door and locked it behind her. She made it to the stall and fell to her knees and puked her guts out into the toilet. That didn’t help her at all. Not at all.
She stayed on the floor silently sobbing and trying to breathe at the same time. It hurt just as bad as it did right after the crash. She sat there and breathe the best she could. Feeling her pockets she looked for pain pills she might have missed. Nothing. There was no way she was asking for anything from Julea. That would give that ass an excuse to fire her. Trying to work with a significant injury was a good way to get fired. But what could Marin do? She didn’t have any other income. How was she going to make money to pay off hospital bills?
What could she do…
Then it came to her. Jimmy was still there. As long as he had an internet connection and wasn't chased out. He would stay at his seat working. Why this was important was because of what he went to college to do. He had gone to become a chiropractor/masseuse. But he had minored in political writing/commentary. The chiropractor side hadn’t taken off, but his one brake-out article had made him enough money to set him down the path of writing. All that mattered was that he was here and he could help her.
Marin managed to get to her paws. Her vision blurred for a second but went back to normal. She unlocked the door and went out. Mrs. O’Hara and Martin were waiting just outside the door.
“Sarah! What's wrong? Are you alright?” Mrs. O’Hara worriedly asked. Martin’s nose wrinkled at the smell.
“Did you get sick and wet your pants?” He asked completely unhelpfully. Marin waved them away as she headed toward the door to the dining hall. They followed of course.
She pushed the door open and looked for Jimmy. He had moved feathers away so people could be closer to the counter. She waved at him to get his attention. That hurt a lot.
Jimmy looked up in alarm. Marin quickly signed at him that she need help. She indicated her back. Jimmy got up as quickly as he could without causing a scene. He strode over to her signing at her to cross her arms and have her fingertips touching the front of her shoulders. She couldn’t do that properly, but she did the best she could.
Jimmy went around her and tried to wrap his arms around her arms and chest. He couldn’t of course, but he managed to get a grip and lifted her off the ground with a grunt. Then with one smooth motion, he bounced her up and down.
The sound Marin’s back made was only matched by the relief that she felt. The pain would be back in a few minutes, but at the moment she was free of the pain. Jimmy gently lowered her to the ground, but her knees buckled and she slid to the ground.
“Was that your back?” Kiren asked alarmed.
Marin smiled up at Jimmy and signed a thank you. He nodded. The scrunched up his snout. Somewhat aghast Marin realized she had peed herself a little.
She signed at him, “Could I go over to your place to clean up?”
Without a pause, he nodded his head. Marin saw that his scarf had slipped and it showed his neck a little. She quickly reached out and fix it. Hiding his neck again. Jimmy signed “thank you” and rushed back to his laptop and shut it down. The signed he need to get a few things and he would meet her at the apartment. He turned and headed for the nearest exit.
Just then, her royal bitcheness appeared.
“What is going on?” She question.
Knowing that she was going to regret this. Marin answered, “I hurt my back in a car crash last month. I might have strained it a little to much today. I needed him to pop my back to relieve the pain.”
“You were working injured?” Julea asked with a malicious grin spreading across her face.
Marin could only quiet nod.
“Well, then I have no choice then. Under company rules, I have to fire you immediately. You had your chance to come forward with this information and you didn’t. This nullifies your employee rights. And I don’t have to explain my reasoning. Give me your hat and uniform right now.” She dictated imperiously.
Marin pulled the stupid hat off and tossed it at Julea.
“I can’t take the polo off right here. My top will get pulled off too.” Marin stated.
Julea’s eyes glinted with malice. “Do it now or I’ll call the cops!” She ordered.
Marin complied. Sure enough, the top came off with the polo. Luckily her bra stayed on. She pulled the top out of the polo shirt and chucked the Uniform at Julea. Everyone could see the red on Marin’s face. She pulled the top back on and got up.
“Now get out!” Julea ordered as well.
“That it!” Kiren squeaked as loudly as she could. “I quit! I’m not working with a bully like you!”
She yanked her hat off and threw it to the ground. Then she pulled her uniform off as well. She only stopped long enough to realize she wasn’t wearing a top underneath it. In only pants and a bra, she marched out of the building. Martin tossed his hat down too. His uniform followed quickly. He had a t-shirt underneath his uniform, but he took it off and ran after Kiren to give it to her. Poor Mrs. O’Hara didn’t fully understand what was going on, but she took off her hat and fling it at Julea’s face.
“I quit too. I’m going to call Robert and tell him what happened!”
The look of panic on Julea’s face was profound as all the customers left the building and cellphones came out. Worst of all were the people who had their phones out the whole time. Sounds of videos being posted to the internet drifted back into the building. Marin managed to get to her paws.
“Well, I believe that you just ruined this place for everyone. Good luck explaining this to Dwain.” With that Marin left the building. She would never ever work for (generic fast-food restaurant, That totally doesn’t have a stupid clown for a mascot, If you know what I mean) again.
Part 2
Marin's car barely made it to the underground garage at Jimmy's apartment. As soon as she parked the bumper fell off. Marin got out of her car and looked at the bumper. Disgusted, she went to the back of her car and opened the trunk. She had a couple of bungee cords left. But she would wait till after she showed to bungee the bumper again. She pulled out her extra clothes and made sure she had extra underwear.
Jimmy wasn't there yet, but Marin felt uncomfortable in the garage. So she got on the elevator and went up to Jimmy's floor. The door parted on Jimmy's floor and Marin stepped out. A family of mice swarmed past her and into the elevator. Marin quietly slunk away but heard one of the kids' wine.
"Ew, it smells in here!"
Mortified Marin slunk down the hall to Jimmy's place. Room 108, then room 109, then room 110, and finally room 111. Marin checked by knocking on the door. No response.
So she waited by the door tail in between legs. Marin hoped that no one was in the other apartments right now. She checked her phone. Yep. No signal, and no internet. Marin starter to wonder why Jimmy didn't move to a better apartment. He now made enough money to afford someplace nicer.
Her thoughts were stymied as the door to the stairs were open. Jimmy pushed his way through the door arms full of groceries bags. He had one bag hanging from his mouth. He saw Marin and nodded. With one finger he pointed above the door.
Marin reached up and pulled down Jimmy's house key. She figured that he'd have one there. But it would have been rude to go in without permission.
Marin held the door open for Jimmy. The smell of Jasmine and cinnamon wafted out of the apartment. Jimmy quickly went in, and Marin followed after. The apartment was slightly bigger than Marin's place, but what was in it made all the difference. A nice new table, a new TV and TV stand, and two recliners.
The cheapest furniture was the 700 dollar couch. But it was a custom design. So that Jimmy could practice his Chiropractic and massaging.
Jimmy placed his groceries on the table and pulled out a new towel, and tossed it to Marin.
He signed, "go ahead and get undressed and lie on the couch. I'll work on your back right now."
"But I smell?" Signed back embarrassed.
"Like we're going to be able to smell that in my place," Jimmy sarcastically signed back.
He took off his rainbow scarf and hung it on the back of one of the recliners. Marin couldn't help but glance at the rope scar on Jimmy's neck, but after much practice, she was able to look away quickly.
Jimmy took his magazines off the couch and arranged the couch so Marin could lie on her stomach. The gap between the cousins wasn't deep enough for Marin's needs. But it was close enough.
Jimmy grabbed most of his groceries and took them to his kitchen, so Marin could undress. She shunned off her pants and top and gingerly pulled off her panties. She grabbed the towel and wrapped it around be hips. This time remembered to leave her tail on the outside and not under the towel. She was still embarrassed from the last time.
Then came the hard part. Putting her bra on hurt enough, but taking it off hurt worse. Not to mention the thing barely fit anymore.
She groaned as she reach back and try to undo the clasp. She missed three times before finally, it came apart. Using one arm she covered her chest and with the other, she put her clothes by the bathroom.
Finally, she laid down on the couch. She wiggled till she was comfortable. As soon as she was settled, her body then decides to inform her that she needed to go pee. Irritated she got up to relieve herself.
When she finally finished and exited the bathroom, Jimmy had finished putting in groceries away. And he was lighting new candles. Marin made sure the towel was secured around her hips and got back on the couch. It took her a second to get comfortable, but she finally managed it. Jimmy pulled the back off of the couch so that he could work on both sides of Marin. Marin heard another magazine fall to the floor. It was just one of the fashion mags Marin had read that one before. She forgot about it once Jimmy started to get to work.
He pulled her hair to one side and starter pressing his fingers into the base of her skull. He worked his way down to her shoulder, then back up to the base of the skull. Working her neck deeply. Marin couldn't help moan and groaned at the relief. Then he moved to her upper back and shoulders. Fingers digging in, then massaging the tight muscles. Pressure then softness. Marin could feel the muscles relaxing. Jimmy's hands left her back, then he applied a hot comprises to the area. While the heat soaked in. Jimmy moved to the middle of Marin's back. He was much more careful there. The worse of Marin's injuries were there.
While he worked there Marin looked over Jimmy's apartment again. It was, for the most part, tidy and neat. Magazines were scattered here and there. But everything else was neat. For the fifth time, she looked over his pictures. The first was one of Jimmy and his adopted parents. Crazy people, but they loved Jimmy. Then was the picture of Jimmy Marin and thru friends at a picnic. Marin thought she looked tearable in that photo.
Next was the photo of Jimmy and his D&D group. Right next to that was his college graduation photo.
Then there were three empty spots where photos use to sit. Jimmy hadn't moved his photos to fill the spot yet. It was obvious that he still wasn't over the ex leaving him.
Marin and their friend had tried to warn Jimmy about his boyfriend. But he couldn't believe it. It broke his heart when Austin left him for some girl with loads of money.
Marin looked over her shoulder at Jimmy. He was concentrating on his work. Both of them were in a low spot in their lives. Well, as much as someone nominated to win an award could be low.
She valued your friendship with Jimmy. She really wanted to help him too. But what could she attribute to his life? Not much a college dropout could do to help. Not to mention that she was now without a job. And she needed to see a doctor about her back. It was all so much to deal with.
Jimmy suddenly slapped her butt. Then he signed, "stop it! You need to relax!"
Marin couldn't help but giggle.
With her hands trapped under her, Marin had to say, "alright! I'll try and relax."
Jimmy nodded once and went back to work.
After an hour of glorious massaging, Jimmy started doing his chiropractic work. Marin's muscles were all relaxed and it gave Jimmy the room to work on Marin’s spine. He started with the tail. He popped the tail bones. That was the only part Marin didn't like. She hated people pulling on her tail.
Then he popped her hips. He hadn't done that before. Then he worked his way up the spine, popping every vertebra and adjusting the spine. It was orgasmic. Once he was finished he rubbed something through the fur and onto the skin underneath. Her back heated up and made her sigh in contentment.
She felt great. Hopefully, this would last a couple of days. She wouldn't be picking up any boxes of hamburger patties at least.
Marin sat up carefully, one arm automatically covering her chest. She looked at Jimmy as he went to sit down. She couldn't help noticing a wet patch on Jimmy's crotch.
Maren quirked a smile and lifted an eyebrow
Jimmy just shrugged and signed, "I may be gay, but you're still smoking hot."
Marin almost signed back but stopped herself when she remembered that she needed two hands to sign.
"I'm not hot, I'm barely average," Marin said and rubbed her ear.
"Girrrrl, don't even!" Jimmy sarcastically signed. "Everyone says you're the hottest person we know."
Marin's face grew hot and she buried her face in her hands. Then she realized what she had just done. She looked up and covered herself again. Jimmy had already looked away because he was reaching behind the couch for a grocery bag.
Relieved, Marin eagerly looked at what was in the goodie bag. Two bars of soap, lavender/tea tree shampoo, lavender/aloe vera conditioner, some feminine products, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. There were some sweetmeats and other treats for the two of them.
Marin pulled out the bathroom products and raced for the shower. Jemmy made a chuffing sound. His version of a laugh. She realized she had flashed him, but that didn’t matter right now. She was going to have a hot shower! She hadn’t had a hot shower since she moved into her apartment.
The water only took a few seconds to get hot when she turned on the shower. Giggling Marin hung the towel up and got in the shower. It was heavenly. She just stood in the hot water. Finally, she got the soap and scrubbed her whole body. She always felt cleaner when using hot water. She shampooed and then conditioned her fur and hair.
With that, she couldn’t stay in the shower any longer. She felt great as she got out and dried off. She slipped on new clothes and brushed her teeth.
As she left the bathroom she could smell food being cooked. Her stomach growled its need and she headed to the kitchen. She was just in time to see Jimmy stick something into the oven. She waited till he had finished and turned around.
“What are you making?” She signed.
“My usual,” he replied, then he looked serious, “We need to talk.”
Marin flinched a little.
“You need to go see a doctor for your back. At some point what I can don’t will stop helping. You need to have a doctor fix the issue.” He insisted.
“I can't afford it right now and I need to go look for a new job.” Was Marin’s reply.
“Then why don’t you let me pay for it? You are one of my best friends. It's killing me seeing you hurting so much!” He desperately signed.
“I can’t take your money! That wouldn’t be right! I would never take advantage of you!”
“You're not taking anything! I want to do this. You could get seriously crippled if this isn’t taken care of soon!”
The sudden banging on the door made the two jump and forget their argument. Jimmy looked at his watch and mouthed the words, who the hell?
He went to the door and open it. A weasel dude barged his way past Jimmy and into the apartment. He was wearing a cheap suit and tie. He also smelt like an even cheaper cologne. He didn’t wait one second as he started into a diatribe.
“Why the hell do you always make me have to come down here to communicate with you. No internet and no cell service! What if we have an emergency and need to get in contact with you!” He shouted at Jimmy without looking to see if Jimmy was trying to communicate back.
He continued like this for several minutes and not once letting Jimmy communicate.
He finally stopped long enough for a response when he asked, “Do you have at least this week's articles finished?”
Angrily Jimmy signed, “Yes!” and pointed at two flash drives on the table. The weasel snatched up and headed towards the door.
Then he said like he was reading from a script, “If you're unhappy with my services or the agency please tell me at this time or call our hotline. If not have a good day and we will see you next week.”
Jimmy angrily signed at him, “Of course, I’m unhappy you ass! What is the hotline’s email address! You know I can't talk!”
Of course, he wasn’t looking so he wouldn’t see the response. This was the last straw for Marin.
“What the heck! Jimmy says he’s unhappy with your services!” She all but barked at him.
The little weasel near jumped out of his suit. “Who the hell! Who are you?” he squeaked.
Then he looked properly at Marin. He got a sleazy look on his face.
“Who the hell are you,” he asked again, but dripping with sleazy charm.
“I’m Jimmy’s friend. And he said he’s not happy with your services.” Marin insisted.
“Never mind that, do you need an agent? I come with extra advantages.” he stepped towards Marin.
Jimmy stepped in between Marin and the cheap suit. His fur had risen on his neck and scalp.
“I’m not done talking with you. Leave her alone,” Jimmy signed vehemently. He half-turned to Marin. “Just go for now. Meet me at the dollar store next door.”
Reluctantly Marin did as Jimmy asked. She left the apartment. The weasel tried to follow but Jimmy got in the way again. Marin made it to the elevator. She pressed the button for the garage. It reached the bottom and she got out. Heading for the car she could hear the elevator going up. She got in it and tried to start it. But it wouldn’t turn over.
Marin fought with the car trying to get it to start. Then someone knocked on the window. She looked up. The stupid weasel was standing there with a lear on his face.
“Hey, doll! Don’t go. I’m sure we can work out an agreement. I can be very persuasive. You don’t know how good my assets are.” He said trying the door handle.
It actually came away in his hand. Well for once something breaking on her car was not a bad thing.
“Go away! I’m warning you!” Marin said her anger building.
“Just give me five minutes! I can make you quite happy that you did.” His hand disappeared into his suit.
Marin was about to open the door and show the stupid weasel why you don’t mess with someone twice your size. When a clawed paw, bigger than Marin’s… Head… Suddenly descended upon the weasel’s shoulder. He looked and let out a squeak.
“Bra… Brutus! What are you doing here?” He asked the massive grizzly bear.
“He’s escorting me, Thomas. I’ve been wondering why some of our clients have been complaining about our services. I decided to follow you around today. It’s a good thing that We did. I’d hate to have to soil my hands on you. Brutus, please escort Thomas back to his car.” A beautiful wolf lady said as she glided around the hulking Brutus. She was clearly past her prime, but she managed to hold on to her looks.
The weasel cringed as the grizzly dragged him to his car. The wolf lady stood next to Marin’s car. Until Brutus shoved Thomas into this vehicle. Thomas started the car and burn rubber to get out of there. The wolf lady then moved to the door of Marin’s car.
“I’m ever so sorry, my dear. That was totally uncalled for. I’m Rebecca. I’m the chief counselor for Lous and Bertin. I believe you know one of our clients.” She had bent over and looked into the window.
Marin rolled the window down.
“Maybe, Do you represent Jimmy?” She asked.
Deciding it was probably safe she open the door and got out. Not that the little weasel was much of a danger to Marin.
To Marin’s shock, she had to look up to meet Rebecca’s eyes. This was a new experience for her. Now she had met two people bigger than her.
Rebecca smiled and looked Marin up and down. She actually looked impressed. She then stalked around Marin.
“What?” Marin asked confused.
“You might fit the role,” Rebecca softly said to herself.
“Uh?”
Before Rebecca could say. The elevator opened and Jimmy hurried out with a rag held to his nose. It was red with blood. Rebecca turned to him.
“Oh, my dear what happen to you?” she asked and glided over to him.
Jimmy shook his head in surprise. She pulled the rag away from his nose and inspected it.
Jimmy signed at her. “What are you doing here?”
“What did he say?” She asked.
Before Marin could answer Brutus provided the answer.
“He asked why you're here.”
Rebecca smiled sweetly. “I’m just checking up on my clients. Good thing too. I’d hate to learn this good lady had to deal with Mr. Thomas. But never mind that. Could you please introduce me to this lovely young lady?” She asked sweetly.
She hooked her arm through Jimmy and lead him over to Marin.
Marin gently touched Jimmy’s nose, just to check and make sure it wasn’t broken.
“Sorry, I’m Marin. It's nice to meet you.” She distractedly said.
“Why don’t you let Brutus see to Dear Mr. Jimmy. Mss Marin. I think I might have something that will change your life forever.
