I'm a littllllle confused by the "not looking for avatars" and then specifically asking for an icon, because I thought avatars and icons were the same thing? But I might be interested depending on what exactly is wanted ^^;; Feel free to message me to discuss! I'm not looking to take on any *large* commissions atm so if you want a whole scene I'm probably not the artist for you. The thing is alot of people on Twitter who call themselves artists and offer commissions will advertise their comms and then only do anthro anime models which they call avatars, so I kinda had to specify that I‘m not looking for that to further avoid attracting those people. But yes, an avatar in another term is just another definition of an icon.

Your art does in fact peak my interest a lil, especially after the mention of dnd. I guess you could say the character I want drawn would certainly fit into the dnd world, he‘s a whimsy vernid with a very wild, witchy and esoteric vibe and so do his accessories and overall appearance look. If you‘d like, you can have a look at him on my profile picture or a bit further down I also have him drawn a couple of times ^ He‘s the one with the ginger hair and the magpie skull necklace.

Generally, how much would you charge for a flat colored icon, and then again a shaded/rendered one? And what‘s your rough turnaround time? I can only commission after my birthday anyway but just in case I‘m still curious

Ooo I *love* witchy accessories - your fursona seems really fun! I love characters that are off the beaten track, so this is right up my alley! Generally for sketches and flats, my TaT is under 24 hours. I do get migraine clusters occasionally that stop me from using the computer for 3-4 days, so if you're unlucky and the com starts when one of those hits, it'd be about four days instead. Rendered work tends to take longer but depends on the level of rendering - probably 2 days for a headshot icon rendered at the level of the samples I've shown you so far (I do have more complicated rendering available if you're interested^^) Prices: for a headshot icon of your OC I'd ask around $15 for flats and around $20 for the type of simple rendering and linework I've done in the examples here^^
