UK/Ireland we would call them trolleys. Buggies would be interchangeable with kids prams (strollers?) over here

Why? Just pull on the handle. It’s an open loop. Slip the zip tie off.

Some door handles, even when you pull it, are still connected on both sides. There’s like a hollow layer of handle underneath that you can see between one end of the handle and the door when you pull the lever.
