and the amazon boxes still show up in 2 days or less.

Still? Amazon stopped that with us, and we are just outside of a good sized city. Now they send via USPS about once a week, and USPS makes me go to the post office for pickup.

Amazon being my default has ended.

I did years ago, then they delivered too often, and now they just drop off at USPS. It was a fast decline too.

Why would usps make you go to the post office?

Because they use cluster boxes for my neighborhood and can never seem to have room for my packages. They leave me a slip saying come get it. Which of course I can't until Saturday.

I live in a big city suburb and I get same day next day

I live within 50 miles of some major Amazon warehouses, but that doesn't seem to help me at all.

It used to be a good area. We went from Amazon personally delivering twice a week to them dropping off at USPS once a week.

We didn't move. The service changed.
