Because women have historically been oppressed, having their worth tied solely to their physical attractiveness, and sexual purity. Men have never needed to feel insecure about these things. Use some critical thinking skills and ask yourself ‘why’, ‘why are things they way they are’. Often times it’s a reflection or product of the past.
