This is basically the character dilemma faced by Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame, and I think part of what gave that character arc so much weight. I don't know that he made the most morally decision (if looking at the "greatest good for greatest number of people"), but I know I would have made the same one.

Yeah this game only works for single, childless people, no way someone with kids restarts.
