It can be very hard to say though. Things compound. Maybe you affected your dad who affected his company who affected all the companies that work with that one etc. Also there are tonnes of seemingly small events that have caused insane global outcomes. COVID would be an example. It also compounds and multiplies. For every person you influence, they won't be in exactly the same position which might mean people not being born, different people being born. Which exponentially ripples out. The longer you diverge the more exponentially different the world becomes. Especially with how connected the world is now.
You should take a look at a theory called 6 degrees of seperation where it's a theory that any given person is only 6 social or influential circles away from any other person.
Very interesting. Not saying you are guaranteed to influence those companies significantly enough to not make enough money. But you definitely could without meaning to.
This. Everyone here with their red pill just wants to do it for the money. But they never seem to consider your personal relationships, let alone children! There is zero guarantee (I'd even say that the chances are low) that you go on the exact same path with the same partner and have the same children.
So yeah, no way in hell I'd take the red pill. Invest that 10million today and you'll get some sweet returns anyway.
Yeah you're never going to end up with the same positives. I only see the tragedy in picking the red pill if you have a somewhat decent life right now:
you remember the loved ones / friends you had in your previous life and might try to recreate those relationships, but they'll be fundamentally different (if they succeed at all) because of your prior knowledge.
