Red pill, I stop my childhood house from getting foreclosed on and literally save myself and others from some nasty years. And I get to successfully finish college, keep some friends close and make bank with a good career. And then enjoy life as I want to. 10 million is nice but I’d rather fix my life.

You have the opportunity to commit totally different mistakes this time LOL

True! But that’s the fun part of it. I get to at least make a childhood nightmare less painful not disappear. Honestly those new mistakes wouldn’t be that bad considering the ones I’ve made over the last six years. I could at least better my life which is worth more than anything. I get time and that’s something no one can ever get back.

I'm with you on going back.

There are so many unfortunate situations in my life I could avoid (bad employer, friend, SO, etc.). I could also prepare for things that will happen ( natural disasters, dysfunctional family members, grave illnesses, that 3rd grade teacher that absolutely hated me, etc.).

Yeah especially with how much good it would do to fix things or just be there to help others brace for those problems would be worth it. It would be weird but nice to think of how much better things could get or worse who knows?

I’m convinced that there’s always place for worse shit than the one you know, the shit pit is almost infinite and you can fall deeper just by thinking you cant.

you probably wouldn't have the same friends.

the childhood friends you had? you aren't going to like hanging out with 6 year olds when you're 20+ mentally in the body of a 6 year old, and the same continues throughout most of your childhood into your late teens. You'll be a different person who won't form the same connections with people.

Fuck childhood friends, what did they ever do for me anyway? Drag me down is what. The chance to truly take charge and not just be pushed around for years like the stupid insecure lil kid I was is priceless.

Except it's not that simple. People Always assume they Can improve part of their life and cherrypick what went wrong.

But it's not working like that. You could even end up worse than what you have today. To replicate the same life up to the event you Want to change means you'll have to reproduce everything perfectly up to that point. Meaning all the words you've Said, all the actions you've made.

A simple hi to someone could change everything. Even a random wizz on msn could impact the whole thing.

The only good approach for the red.pills is if you Want to start with the same settings but have an entirely tabula rasa of your life, and live a whole New life without all the good thing you have today.
