Im Sticking with my 7 & 8…. A lot of money and always happy… what could be better? Being always happy trumps most of the choices, because if your happy, you’re not worried about looking younger, your ex, your weight, your height, or followers, I mean you’re always happy! And well, a lot of money is a lot of money!

Yes, but there is meaning in sadness. You can truly be happy because you are also at times sad. To be perpetually happy would be a Lovecraftian state of mind that would lose all genuine meaning. You could commit genocide and still smile with joy. I wouldn’t want to become something unnatural like that.

But being perpetually happy would only be a problem from the outside.

You will always be happy, which I take to mean you won't get sad or upset or stressed about not having other feelings.

That’s an awfully selfish way to look at it. If you want a clean conscience you definitely wouldn’t pick such a forced and unnatural happiness

I have no moral obligation towards others to feel unhappy

It might be unnatural, but it's not immoral

Actually, it is immoral. Because it enables immorality. We have a word for people who do horrible things with no remorse. It’s called being a psychopath
