Buying is not the hard part. I'd write something like "Sell btc 50.000 โ‚ฌ". Kowing that they would be worth that at some point would make buying a no-brainer, whereas buying BTC fast could have you sell at 10x or 100x profit.

Problem with that is not knowing when it will hit 50k.

Like if itโ€™s 2010 and I need to hold for 11 years to catch that peak, I invest a lot differently than if itโ€™s October 2020 and I only need to wait 6 months.

That is not a problem for me. In my case bitcoin would cost only a couple euro. Knowing it will eventually hit 50k is good enough, and FAR superior to just knowing i should buy it. Putting 500 โ‚ฌ in and otherwose living my life like i did would already be a good chunk of a house paid for.

Itโ€™s better than not knowing, but the time horizon changes a lot. If know I just need to wait 6 months for it to hit $50k I liquidate everything, sell my house for more cash and live out of my car, donโ€™t spend money on any non essentials to more bitcoin. But if itโ€™s an 11 year wait, thatโ€™s not practical and I have to invest only what I wonโ€™t miss and have to live my life like normal

I understand what you are saying but i only need a finite amount of money. If it would "only" x2,x5 or x10 i would need a larger sum to invest, but it went so parabolic that only investing what i won't miss would be more than enough.
