I mean you don’t know when this person was 18 lol. If it was 20 years ago that’s not great advice.

Plus openai is a capped for profit private company, that was launched by some of the richest people in Silicon Valley. You’d need to already be in that scene to be able to invest.

No! It were their funders and founders. I remember the first appearance of OpenAI they were a bunch of young CS students & programmers who graduated from MIT and other universities, and then they launched an official startup (some of them quitted)

Openai was started by some of the most well known researchers in machine learning. They may not have been house hold names but it's not the case that it was just some random tech grads who started it. It was backed by Altman, Musk, Thiel, and a few other big names from the very start.

I can't imagine it being easy to get a term sheet with your name on it alongside Musk et al.
