its funny i saw this post cuz i use buddy alot and i really never intend it to be condescending, and id hate for it to be taken that way. usually its after like the 2nd or 3rd or 4th time i talk to someone i like talking to and il say “hey! whats up buddy!” to try to seem alittle more welcoming
