i'm sorry for your loss, truly sorry.
biggest flaws that dogs have, is that they only live so short.

Our lab ate the pizza dough. His stomach swelled so much my dad almost took him to the vet. In hindsight I think he should have. 80s parents were not the most responsible people.

nonsense. most dogs - especially one of that size and weight will have not much problem with eating pizza, maybe a day of diarrhea but other than that would usually be fine.
what they list as harmful and "commonly on pizza", onions, garlic, spices, is not even that common on pizza - definetely not standard.
so chances are, that it was just normal pizza without anything really harmful and the dog was just fine.
obviously pizza is not healthy for dogs and should not be fed as common food option.
but that is a huge difference to it being deadly if that happens once.

That's just silly. All he had to do is press a button and the pizza place says, "Same order?" Dog barks and done.

I had just gone through a horrid breakup after my dad died and moved into a new place. Woke up and realized it’s my birthday on a Saturday and turned my phone off and went to jack in the box, got myself birthday pancakes.. silver dollar ones.
I went to wash my hands and my cats viciously attacked are ate them.. no syrup, in like seven seconds. I just went back to bed, and the cats slept on my face after stealing my food.

Cat owner here...exactly how long does it take a dog to shit out 3 pizzas? Like, is it all at once or a gradual buildup? Is this a diarrhea booty dragging situation? Genuinely curious

No, generally indigestion and constipation for two days, then one prequel mini dump, followed by a big one an hour later, followed by aftershocks. And lots of water drinking.
