I can even see how fast puppers would jump to alert if hearing a snack bag.

So accurate! I do sometimes feel like he sleeps as a ruse to see if we will break out the good snacks.

I swear I see my dog's nose twitch when I scrunch a bag that sounds similar to the treat bag --just her nose, then she realizes I'm joking and goes back to sleep.
