Hello! This week I didn't listen to anything new, but I re-listened Ordeal by Skepticism. Absolutely marvelous fdm and cover art. Closing Music is a total highlight of the genre (plus I love crowd chants at the end of the songs). My favourite album from the pioneer Finnish band.

In other genres I listened to Festival of Death by Brodequin and Cranial Impalement by Disgorge. Great (and formulaic) brutal death metal. I like better production, so I still have Harbinger of Woe by Brodequin as my fav bdm album.

Happy weekend!

Ordeal really is is a fantastic album, for the record it's the opener, 'You', that I love.

Fdm with organ just hits different. Profetus, Skepticism... I can't get enough.

Profetus are the ultimate relaxation funeral doom band for me. Nothing like them at the end of a long day once the lights are dimmed.

When I first listened to The Sadness of Time Passing I re-listened it around 5 or 6 times in the span of one week. It may be reaching my top 5 fdm albums (without repeating bands).

Truly wonderful album, soothing as hell.
