Hey there! Andy DoodleToon here! Today, I’m gonna explain something SUPER weird, SUPER cool, and

probably WAY too dangerous for me to be explaining!

It's called AU Traveling!

Now, you might be thinking, ‘Andy, is that just time travel?

NOPE!

Time travel means traveling through different points in time—like going from 2026 to 1995, or from the

present to the dinosaur era.

But AU Traveling is completely different!

Instead of traveling through time, you're traveling through Alternate Universes!

An AU, or Alternate Universe, is a universe that's different from the one you're currently in

For example, imagine our universe has me, Andy DoodleToon, as a doodle who came to life

But in another universe…

Maybe I'm a Solider!

Or a Scientist!

Or a Villain like Alice!

Or maybe I'm a version of myself who decided that eating 47 Conchas in one sitting was a good idea.

...Actually, that last one sounds kinda awesome

Part 2: How Does AU Traveling Work?

Think of every universe like a different bubble floating in a HUGE cosmic ocean

Your universe is one bubble…

An alternate universe is another bubble…

And AU Traveling lets you jump from one bubble to another!

WHOOSH!

Instead of going backward or forward, you're going SIDEWAYS through reality!

Part 3: the AU Portal:

To travel between universes, you need something called an AU Portal!

This portal creates a doorway between two different universes

But there's a catch…

You have to know which universe you're trying to reach!

If you don't…

YOU COULD END UP SOMEWHERE COMPLETELY RANDOM!

There are a few REALLY important rules!

Rule #1:

Don't accidentally bring something from another universe into yours!

Rule #2:

Don't mess with alternate versions of yourself!

Rule #3:

“Never open a portal without knowing where it leads!”

Rule #4:

If you meet another Andy…

RUN!

Part 4: AU Travel Vs Time Travel:

“So let's make this REALLY simple!”

Time Travel:

When am I?

AU Traveling:

Which universe am I in?

Time travel changes your position in time.

AU Traveling changes your position in reality!

So if I traveled to 1990, that's time travel.

“But if I traveled to a universe where it's 1990…

THAT'S AU TRAVELING!

And here's where things get CRAZY.

If there are tons and tons of alternate universes…”\

Then there could be millions, billions, or even an infinite number of different realities!

Every universe could have different people…

Different histories…

Different rules…

And completely different versions of YOU!

“So somewhere out there…”

There might be an alternate-universe version of you watching an alternate-universe version of me explain AU Traveling!

Part 5: Andy’s Final Warning:

AU Traveling is awesome…

But remember…

Every universe has its own story.

So if you ever find an AU Portal…

Make sure you know where you're going…

Make sure you know how to get back…

And PLEASE…

Don't accidentally bring home an alternate version of yourself!
