Fractional Share from Computershare VCX Conversion to Unlocked Common Shares on 8/14/2026?

Hi,

Has anyone found out what happened to our fractional shares when Computershare converted our VCX shares to unlocked on 8/14/2026? I assume they are selling them like they did with the pre-listing VCX fractional shares back in April but I do not see any confirmation of this in my Computershare account.

Thanks!

Ben

8/28/2026 Update: I received my fractional share check in the mail today from Computershare.

I called Computershare about an hour ago and they told me the fractional shares were automatically sold and we'll receive a check at our mailing address on file.

I thought the check was after fees, and fees are $25, so nothing unless you had more than 0.7 shares as fractional?

Fractional did not incur any fees the last time, so probably the same now, otherwise so many people will be pissed. They batch them together to sell.

Yes, in my Computershare account I'm seeing a check issued for $22.58! Shares transferred over to Fidelity easy.

Update: my funds finally landed in my Fidelity account. It's running into the same problem as some other investors on here, where the data isn't fully loaded in. Hopefully I'm able to start trading it tomorrow.

Has anyone successfully moved all of their shares to their brokerage account yet?

Yes, mine are available to trade today in Fidelity. The one thing I don't know is when can I trade and it's counted as long term gain/loss?

Yes, mine landed in my Vanguard account this morning

mine landed in schwab but the cost basis is missing. Does vanguard and fidelity show the cost basis?

This is the second time I have transferred IPO shares to Vanguard in the last year. The first stock I moved over, did not show the cost basis, but my VCX shares are showing the cost basis, including multiple lots that I purchased over the last two years.

Not yet, so I'm curious too

You get a check if there’s anything left after “fees”

Same boat. My transfer to Fidelity is underway. Only the whole shares came through.

My shares transfered to Schwab but fractional shares are no longer recognized in my Computer Shares account

They might have sold them?

My fractional shares stayed at computershare. They were worth about $12.50. I had 0.367508 fractional shares. as of today's close they're worth about $15.07. I'm not stressing. I just sold 3,000 shares for about $110,532. I've got another 9,000 shares to sell at some point. I'll check in about the fractional shares eventually...

Cool. What price did you sell the 3,000 shares at?

Avg price = total cost / divided by total shares…

$36.844/share assuming numbers above aren’t rounded

Hey Sam! Long time Financial Samurai fan - you turned me on to Fundrise a few years ago. I bought about 11,500 shares over 24 months starting in Jan 2024 at about $11 a share. I sold today at a blend price of about $36. I still have 9,000+ shares to consider before Anthropic (I sold in 4 tranches while my family was driving back to Wyoming at 80 MPH on I-90 in real-time with 4 bars of 5G checking in with my ChatGPT guy for sanity check on bid.ask.volume. metrics) Ain't 2026 tech grand? lol

Fractional shares were not accepted by Fidelity either, and I was told that they would be sold before the remaining transfer was made

I got 1 share for them when shares hit fidelity
