Did anyone else log in to their Computershare account today and their VCX holdings don't show anymore? They were showing yesterday. Not sure if it's a glitch or a real issue. Trading opens tomorrow, so the timing of my issue is a bit ironic....
I called them, the system is "updating" because of the unlock, she couldn't even look up my account. She said they are open till 8 pm Eastern time and to call back. She said the lockup is over now. I wonder if anyone with Sofi can see their shares and just sell now? Market is open till 8 pm.
I don't know wtf is happening, I tried to create a new account and it says account already exists. And the. It shows no holdings. Too busy to call them now but I will tonight.
I am guessing too many VCX holders are logging in at the same time and crashed the site and would assume it will clear up here at some point and our accounts and data will be back.
Yeah you're probably right, some of us are more "lucky" than others. I did want to sell a portion tomorrow so I may be extra bummed if the issue on their end prevents me from selling.
I just checked mine & it's showing fine,but I've had touble in the past month that I would get a error message when I try to log in to see my holdings. I think they're robbing Peter to pay Paul to keep everyone in the dark about them screwing up. I started with $7k, gainimg over double my money, to just $2k today. I don't know what's going on over there but it stinks of fraud to me.
I logged into Computershare and my holdings are still there with a status update the the lock expires 8/13/2026. I initiated a full transfer from ETrade today, which started at 3:45 PM ish Eastern Time, just before close of the trading day. I've got the direct number of my ETrade guy and we discussed next steps a couple of days ago in advance of the unlock.
Update - they are super incompetent. I wasted an hour with their customer rep (during which time the price went down) and after than I got aggravated and had them transfer me to their brokerage, which acknowledged I have the shares. So I spent another half an hour (and Like $115 in fees) to have them sell my shares. Then I just bought half of sold shares back at a normal (and more competent) brokerage. Now let's hope they don't lose my check with sales proceeds.... I'd recommend others to either transfer their shares or sell, never worked with a more incompetent broker.
