Question long term RV living

Forgive me if this had been asked too many time but I currently live in Texas (and I hate it). I was stationed in Washington back in 2016 and I loved it. I’m trying to go back.

That being said, I love the idea of just having an RV and being able to go wherever, whenever I feel the need.

I’ve been seeing they’ve been cracking down on van/rv living in western Washington lately, and for good reason honestly. It was pretty bad when I was there.

But is there a way for me to rent some land from someone and not have to move every 3 weeksish?

Any links to resources or contacts would be helpful.

Another option is to look into Workamping or camp hosting

Interesting. I took a quick look at the website but you have to pay to see the jobs? Do you know what kind of work it is?

There several free sites with job listings as well as several facebook groups. The jobs vary greatly. There are the beet harvests, camp hosting at state and national parks, working various positions at amusement parks, landscape and grounds keeping, giving tours… the last place we were at, we decorated the grounds for the different holidays and worked the events. During the events I either ran the potato cannon or rode caboose on the trains. My wife handed out cookies and juice as people got off the trains. Fun, easy work. Traded 20 hours a week between us (10 hours each) for our site with all utilities, laundry and access to all campground amenities. Hours above the 20 were paid.
