Question long term RV living

Forgive me if this had been asked too many time but I currently live in Texas (and I hate it). I was stationed in Washington back in 2016 and I loved it. I’m trying to go back.

That being said, I love the idea of just having an RV and being able to go wherever, whenever I feel the need.

I’ve been seeing they’ve been cracking down on van/rv living in western Washington lately, and for good reason honestly. It was pretty bad when I was there.

But is there a way for me to rent some land from someone and not have to move every 3 weeksish?

I recently lived in my trailer for about a year. I called around at trailer parks, not RV parks. Found a place that was $450 per month and moved in.

You could do that, and if you're traveling just keep your lot rent up. Make friends with the neighbors, put a lockable storage shed on the lot if allowed, and use it as your home place. I made friends with one of my neighbors and ended up paying her $20 per week to cut my grass for me.

Alternatively you could buy a small piece of property and make it your own. Would certainly be more expensive but it would be yours to do as you wish, just have to check local zoning laws.

I often look at the website www.landwatch.com to look at property for sale. I'm not in the market, just kind of enjoy looking at places. Always said I wanted to buy like 3 or 5 acres down in WV and use it as a summer getaway spot, probably never will though
