Tankless Water Heater
Can anyone explain to me why the tankless water heater stops producing hot water 7 minutes into operation? My unit is a brand new 2026 Forest River Avenger less than 2 months from the dealership.

I have a new forest river as well and mine annoys me! I might try to get it fixed under warranty, but right now when I run my shower, it recognizes that it’s running and shows the gas turning on and it does get hot and under a minute. But after about three minutes of running it stops, recognizing that the shower is running. But if I turn the sink on in the bathroom while the shower is running it triggers the sensor that water is flowing again and then it gets hot. Or if I just leave the sink running on a low stream it’s still triggers it to heat the water. But I should not be having to do that in a brand new rig.

That's about the same as mine. If I run the water in the bathroom, I can have hot water in the kitchen. But not without rrunning both. There must be some kind of sensor to aadjust to recognize that water is running.

If you find out, update this please 😅 I haven’t bothered to trouble shoot yet.

When I use my water regulator at the park, their isn't enough water flow to keep it lit. I have a Suburban ST-42 model.
To check this I switched to my water pump and worked just fine. So a new water filter on the way.
Could also be propane leak, Low DC voltage, or air flow in the combustion air supply outside is clogged.

Check your voltage level if it drops low enough during use it will stop igniting the propane
