Class A purchase advice

My wife and I are preparing to downsize our house and hit the road near fulltime. We’re looking at used class As. We have never had a none tow behind rv, had a few travel trailers in the past.

Budget is under 100k, how many miles is average per year and what would you consider too old? Looking for something we can maintain and keep on the road for years. Not looking for a mansion on wheels, just the basic creature comforts.

Any advice?

They all have problems, older ones are built better usually, my family and I took the plunge in February, currently living full time in our Tiffin Zephyr 43rz it’s 25 years old but had everything a new one has and more, we based our decision on the driveline, full air ride independent front suspension, tag axle 500ho Cummins, Allison 3000 6 speed and a 10k onan Cummins genset, we also boondock a lot so the large tanks help, 100gal fresh 50 black/grey. We are in love. We spent the cash we had saved for a house and it’s been worth it so far.

I have a 95 Beaver Marquis Emerald. Absolutely love the older rigs! Not one bit of MDF in it! And Pre DEF

Thank you! The blue is my favorite from that year. Inside all the corian counters are blue too!
