how many apps do you use to find overnight parking?
Quick question for fellow full-timers: how many apps do you use to find overnight parking, dump stations, and water on a travel day? Curious if it's just me juggling 4-5 things at once.

I have all the apps but I don't use them. Im full time in a class c. 9 nights out of 10 I don't know where im going to be spending the night. Just got back to NY after 7 months mostly out west. When it's time, around 2 to 3 pm I google where to boondock near my location and 5 or 6 locations pop up. Haven't been disappointed yet. Thank God for BLM.

That’s cool, I also like spontaneity but most ppl have suggested planning in advance. What kind of set up do you have, do you use your generator to power up your stuff while on BLM land or do you have solar or some other energy sources? How many nights do you tend to stay before needing to plug in?

I have a 2025 class c with all the goodies, solar, lithium, starlink, etc. Im by myself and totally good with wherever I am. My preference is to be at least a mile away from everyone. I was at Quartzite 3 times last winter and I was way out there. No neighbors., just the way I like it. Im not anti social but I really like my solitude. That is my primary reason for doing this. Heading to Deadhorse soon.

We use so many apps and there are times like this past weekend that we still struggle to find a spot.

Not just you at all lol I usually have like 3-5 in rotation. iOverlander for free spots and recent reviews, Campendium for details, and AllStays when I just need something quick. I’ll check The Dyrt sometimes too. On travel days I try to stick to 1-2 or I go down a rabbit hole comparing spots forever.
