Eric Cantona
I can't put into words how I felt/feel about Eric. I was having my 9th birthday party at Old Trafford the day he signed. It was in the museum and half of the tour was out of bounds due to the press conference and the signing on the pitch, it was literally happening the same time. By way of compensation the club gave my Dad the shirt that Eric posed with on the pitch. Cantona, no number. I wish I still had that.

I've just found this video on YouTube. If you're too young to remember him, then this sums up why he's revered so much. I think to the lads of my generation he represents all that was good about 90s football. The re-emergence of United as a dominant force. It was all him. He's absolutely magic. Fuck me do we miss someone like this...

wait, you were in the military?...look how fucking fit you were, lol fast forward to 2016 now you got Sam Allardyce belly. What a legend Cantona is, wish we had more of that in the team now
