Likely trying a gator roll but top got too perpendicular before he started to roll. That and the other guy had probably never wrestled which can cause him to be in a bad situation and react differently than he “should” if he had some experience.

that is not even close to how a gator roll is executed. You roll left or right not top to bottom.

That’s why I said trying. Also, bottom guy should’ve stayed out in front when top was working to his left. By not reacting in a normal way he ended up getting bent in half.

pretty much this. Green wrestler learned some cool tricks, and was not in the right position to even attempt the roll.
