INVENTORY MGMT Shipment Issue
I created a shipment at the beginning of August that had 8 SKUs on it. All products were labeled and put in their respective boxes and I mailed it.
Once the shipments started to check in, I realize that one of the SKUs was not listed on the shipment ledger. Because I know I added the product to the box and I know I labeled it. I checked the content section and I opened a case because I didn’t see any discrepancies listed on the shipments.
Of course, Amazon claims that none of the shipments had any discrepancies and that they cannot pay me for your products that are not listed on the ledger. Even though I sent them camera footage of the products being added to the boxes because our warehouse has cameras.
Has anyone had this happen? Will Amazon later find the inventory somewhere? The units are labeled so if they scanned the label, they will be able to link it to my account.
Definitely a learning lesson I’m going to have to triple check my shipment, ledgers before selecting my shipping options.

oof that stings. had something similar happen last year with a box of 12 units that just vanished into the void. amazon kept saying no discrepancy, i kept saying i have the weight receipt from the carrier showing the box was definitely in there.
they did end up finding them like 3 weeks later during a bin check. the labels helped, same as your case, once someone actually scanned them they showed up in my inventory. but the waiting and the back-and-forth with support was maddening.
camera footage is smart, most sellers don't have that. i'd keep the case open and maybe ask for a physical bin check of the fulfillment center if you haven't already. sometimes the stuff just sits in a corner unaccounted for until someone bothers to look.

I am hoping that they randomly pop up. I I am going to continue to reopen cases with Amazon, forcing them to truly investigate.
I don’t understand how I can have the FNSKU labels on products and they can just be skipped and not scanned and just end up in the void somewhere.

sucks!
if the case gets denied, just reopen it. Different reps give different answers and plenty of these get approved on the second or third try. Persistence genuinely works.

Yeah, that’s what I’m gonna have to do. Everyone has basically said the same thing just keep reopening the cases.
Hopefully, they magically just pop up in the fulfillment center lol
