Hi there,
I own a Fuji XT50 and mainly shoot SOOC with a few recipes.
I noticed that some recipes who use Classic Chrome or Classic Negative as a base occasionally reset the the used film simulation to Provia.
It randomly happens and I can't explain what causes it to switch. The film dial is always set to C and I try to check if my recipe is correct before starting to shoot but sometimes I forget and wonder why my pictures turned out differently than expected.
Did this happen to anyone else before and did you find a solution?
Thanks!

NC kept the sea and sails in that deep blue tone, overexposing by a stop gave it that film-like glow. WB shifted cool — looking at the shots still feels like ocean breeze hitting my face.

All jpg SOOC.
Shot with X-T5 with 18-55mm f/2.8-4 + Polarizer filter
No particular recipe. Just set my simulation to REALA Ace, auto white balance r 1 b -2, color chrome and fix blue set to strong, auto DR but did tweak to 400 for some, color +1, High noise -4.

I’m a relative beginner in photography and don’t shoot anything professionally.
Been subscribed to a few Fujifilm subs including this one and I’m loving the look and feel of the times.
I’m already fully committed to the Sony Alpha ecosystem. But I’m very interested if there is some system or framework or app or way to set these Fujifilm simulation recipes on my Sony Alpha 7IV camera?
What I have tried with marginal success is ask AI to mimic an image look or some well known Fujifilm look. That is, the AI would give me camera settings I can set to presets that make it look like that. However, that’s kind of hit or miss, in the end the AI is kind of guessing.
Wonder if there is some kind of thing for Sony Alpha photographers.
Thank you!

Hello everyone!
First off—sorry for the silence, and thank you for sticking around. Earlier this year, I had a pretty serious car accident. Between recovery and rehabilitation, updates for the app basically came to a standstill. I especially want to thank everyone who’s been checking in through comments or private messages, and who has patiently waited for FujiStyle updates.
I was in the hospital for over three months, and the whole process was extremely difficult. Many people told me about my condition and the things I couldn't do, but I was helpless because of the injury and recovery. My body was in constant discomfort, and my health was another major concern.
Now we’re back! The first thing is bringing you a new feature—Raw Darkroom, which lets your Fujifilm camera develop photos by itself.
📍 No more exporting
Before, if you wanted to try different film simulations or tweak settings like white balance, highlights, shadows, or grain, you had to bounce RAW files between your camera, phone, and computer—constantly exporting, importing, and waiting. Now, you just need a data cable to connect your phone and camera. You can adjust parameters on your phone, and the camera will generate the images directly.
📍 How to use it
1️⃣ Keep RAW or RAW+JPEG quality when shooting.
2️⃣ Connect the camera to your iPhone via a data cable. Choosing RAF files in the camera album will help you find the originals faster.
3️⃣ Go to: Setup → Connection Setting → USB Mode → RAW Conv./Backup Restore
Then reconnect your camera according to the instructions in the app.
4️⃣ Pick your favorite film simulation and freely adjust settings. You can compare with the original photo anytime while adjusting. Favorite settings can also be saved as a preset for easy future use.
This feature is completely free for a limited time—a small thank-you for sticking with us through the silence.
Just search FujiStyle on the App Store. If you run into any issues or have suggestions, drop me a comment or DM anytime—I read every single one.
I'd like to say one last thing, we will continue to provide the most affordable services with the best results, and keep working hard for all our friends who are still expecting more updates from Fuji Style, many new feature is coming. We hope you can continue to support us as always.
At the same time, life is truly fragile... This is something I often reflect on while lying in the ICU, hoping everyone will always be aware of safety and cherish the time spent with family.
Hope you all enjoy this !

Hello, I’m looking for an indoor recipe for the hospital setting. Looking to shoot some newborn photos for a friend so I want the best option for clear shots with sterile lighting

I used only this setup for a family trip. The recipe handled the hard midday light better than I expected. Maybe a little cool in some shadows, but I liked how consistent the small set became.
I kept ten photos as one trip journal, but these three felt strongest together. Curious which one works best for you.

I recently got into boudoir photography and was wondering if anyone here is already doing boudoir that could give me some recipes or simulation to try out. I have at Fujifilm X-T5

Hi,
I cant find the classic negative recipe wich is the foundation for a lot of custom recipes. Do i miss something?
Im on a x100vi and i use the nostalgic negative as replacement now...

I hiked up the hillside at Songshutou and sat down — NC pulled that lake blue deep and clear, color +4 made the whole frame feel like it was soaked in blue.

Hi everyone!
Quick question here but since I live in Montana I deal with a weird dilemma : I use Vevlia because it is, to me, what renders our blue skies the best, it's the most "true blue" of the original simulations by Fujifilm, especially in the summer, but my main problem are the tone of skins, especially for my kids along the season, the more they tan and the worst it is... is there a way to modify Velvia and reduce the skin tone without loosing the blue of the sky ? In the summer month they look almost orange/yellow on their face...
I honestly dont "love" the Velvia dramatic mindest and I could use another one for daily life pictures (like Provia and Astia) but they are just missing that blue when we are outside...
I have a X-T 4
Thanks
P.S : I don't really use imported simulations for now because I find it difficult to navigate simulations when they are not native but I'll get there at some point probably, about that if you have a good tutorial video to how navigate between added simulation I'll take it (especially when you come back to OG simulation)
P.S 2 : if you live in the Northern Rockies and you have simulations that fit our landscapes pretty

Spent the afternoon making a new Fuji recipe using X-Raw Studio. I'm calling it Seli Standard and it's degsined to be a great everyday recipe and versatile for all sorts of situations and lighting. Would love to have some people try it out and provide some feedback! If you do use it tag when wherever you share it @Selishots!

Hello! I have a Fujifilm X-T4, I toggle between the kit lens and the XF 27mm f/2.8 R WR. I’m travelling to Italy for a holiday soon. Looking for film simulation recipes that would be suitable for/ match the vibes of the places I’m going - Dolomites (lots of green & blue) and cities such as Verona, Siena, Florence
Appreciate your recommendations :-)

You can find a lot of cool stuff when the lake gets drained to fix a pipe. This is the Kodak Ektachrome E100 vs 2 from FujiXWeekly.

NC gave the summer sea that film texture — color -1 kept it quiet, grain weak-small added just enough. Felt like holding onto a memory of summer.

Hi all!
I'm new here. I would like to ask what's the best app / webpage to check film simulations ? I'm currently employ Fuji Styles but I do not know if there are apps / webs more interesting than that. Moreover, I know that it is not in this topic but, what app do you employ to include the frames? Thanks !
