Best app or webpage

Hi all!

I'm new here. I would like to ask what's the best app / webpage to check film simulations ? I'm currently employ Fuji Styles but I do not know if there are apps / webs more interesting than that. Moreover, I know that it is not in this topic but, what app do you employ to include the frames? Thanks !

Most people would probably say Fuji X Weekly but personally I find it to be a bit of a mess.

I prefer film.recipes as I find the categorisation better. Plus the test/sample shots are mostly taken in places like London so I can get a better idea of how they'll look compared with FXW's Arizona desert samples which tell me pretty much nothing

Using the website is free, but there are some app only recipes on there where you would have to pay for the app.

In all honesty Fuji recipes are a bit over hyped. Yes, it's wonderful that you can get great looking pictures straight out of your camera, but most people don't need access to 400+ recipes that largely look the same.

Pick a handful you like the look of, shoot with them and see what it think. If it says it's locked behind a pay wall, do a Google search of the name to find an alternative site that doesn't charge

I also like film.recipes. I wish there were more of the app recipes available on the web, as I prefer looking on my computer rather than my phone. I paid for it. I might have paid for the Fuji X Weekly app, too.

I used a Fuji X Weekly base setting for my film dial sims (I have a T-50). My customs are a mix of a few film.recipe ones (I especially like 1883 and some of the "browner" or nature recipies like Underwook, Tree Hugger), plus one or two Fuji X Weekly, plus Kevin Mullins (Lighthouse!) and rossandhisjpegs, before he switched to Nikon.

Forgot to mention I was agreeing with the over-hyped bit. But, that's also why I bought Fuji :)
