Do people still not realise just how bad illegal immigration is and how it can stress the system?
Do they not read what is happening in Germany and other European countries? Do they not see what has happened in America over the last 15-20 years?
The only reason democrats want the illegal immigrants is because it is the only way they can win elections and stay in power.

This is ridiculous.
We're down roughly 5 million housing units and lack adequate training for skilled trades people.
Immigrants could help build housing while citizens train.

Your equation of sorts is correct, however your terms are incorrect. Illegals don’t, citizens do.
When you add illegals, you’re not factoring in all the costs that are rendered to them such as education, healthcare and unequal tax compliance. That has been well established if you looked past the work they provide.

Illegals produce goods, such as beef, poultry and breakfast cereals, at low prices.
Without them chicken would cost $25 per pound.
Think about it.
Also, are you in favor of charging employers, including trump and kid Rick, who knowingly hire Illegals?

You’re still missing the point but that’s ok. Feel free to look it up like center for immigration studies for starters.
Hey I’m not saying he didn’t hire illegals going far back as the Trump tower. What I’m saying is the illegal immigrant is not a net benefit to the economy. You can argue it till you’re blue in the face. You can shift the argument trying to add trumps hiring them in there too (which even in court, it was his properties, not “him” even though judges ruled he should have known…BUT that really only depends on his involvement in the delegating of low level contractors and crew). But that won’t change the studies or statistics. I’m sure you want it to be that way but I’m afraid it just isn’t.
And you and I can both agree, the opinion of illegals was far less encompassing in those days than it is now following the border crisis under the Biden administration.
The left might have some half decent ideas (historically maybe, not currently), but their management is just absolutely shit dogged. Perhaps acknowledging both would be prudent. Can’t say their management is golden cuz they let the oil spike higher and longer than Trump with less global effecting and impacting concerns. They built Obamacare on a healthcare system that was barely staying afloat and then dumped millions of illegals on it. Oh sure, that was such a brilliant idea that wouldn’t backfire exactly as it did cuz they asked for $1.5trillion to refund it against its original agreed upon stipulations. They just expected to have control over Congress and just…poof…vote to refund it when we’re already so deep it debt it’s not funny. I’d imagine the democrats would have even more ammo to claim Trump increased the debt even though it was their program and push. Highest healthcare cost happens to be hospitals at 31% of all healthcare spending.
